2020 UTME: JAMB directs candidates to print result slips

JAMB has disclosed that candidates who sat for the 2020 UTME can print their result slips from the board’s website.

Candidates who sat for the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination (UTME) have been directed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to print their result slips. Fabian Benjamin, the spokesperson for the JAMB, in a statement on Sunday, June 7, said the result slips which had earlier been made available through text messages to candidates, can now be printed from the board’s website on request.
He told candidates to visit the board’s site where they can print their results slips after providing registration details, New Telegraph reports.
“The printing of the result notification slip is free as it is different from the original result slip that comes with the candidate’s picture. JAMB explained that candidates can print their result notification slip anywhere in the country with internet access. Meanwhile, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) said on Sunday, June 7, that it is set to commence its activities in Nigeria. The organisation said it would commence examination after the Nigerian government reopens schools across the country. WAEC had suspended its examinations in March 2020 following the closure of schools in the country as the government announced lockdown of some states and Abuja.
